Wenneker Marasquin is a pleasant, clear
liqueur with a sweet aftertaste.
The name Marasquin comes from the
Maraska cherry which grows in large
quantities in former Yugoslavia in
particular. Not just the flesh of
this cherry, even the broken stone
is used for the Maraska distillate.
Using the stone in the distillation
process gives the distillate an
additional strong flavour.

Drunk straight or on the rocks, Wenneker Marasquin is very tasty, but is
also a versatile cocktail ingredient. However, Marasquin is best known
for its use in cakes and many dishes.
