The “Duc de Vigneray” cuve comes from the best plots in the south
of the PAUILLAC appellation. Their plantings gives it an
exceptional personality marked by elegance, balance and finesse.

Vineyard and Vinification:
Grape varieties:

35 % Merlot; 45% Cabernet Sauvignon; 12 % Cabernet Franc;
8 % Petit Verdot

Soils: Graves Garonnaises Clays
Vinification: Traditional methods with 6 to 8 days of fermentation,
3 to 4 weeks of vatting and 18 months of aging in barrels
(50% new barrels)

Tasting Notes:
A dazzling garnet-red color. An intense nose of red fruits with
delicately woody and spicy notes. The tannins are silky on the
palate with a lot of roundness and body on the palate. A long
and very pleasant finish.

Food Pairing and Serving Temperature:

To taste with a nice rib of beef grillet with vine branches or
rack of lamb.
Serve at 18°C.
